Love for Thrift Marketplace is operated by Shibumi Enterprises LLC, 1930 Lincoln Hwy, North Versailles, PA 15137. That company is the data controller for the marketplace. Privacy questions go to loveforthrift@gmail.com.

• Account details: your email address, your name and your password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
• Listing details: the titles, descriptions, prices, categories and photos you publish, and the location you give for pickup.
• Messages and offers: the messages you send through the site and any offer you make or receive.
• Photos you upload, which are stored so your listing can show them.
• Saved items and preferences, so your favorites and your notification choices work.
• Basic technical data: your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.

• To publish your listings and show them to other people.
• To deliver your messages and offers, and to email you when someone replies.
• To keep the marketplace safe: reviewing reports, blocking abusive accounts and enforcing our terms.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, to remember your saved items and your cookie choice, and to measure how the site is used. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set when the corresponding IDs have been configured by the site owner and you have accepted them in the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.

When enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic and, when configured, the Meta Pixel to measure advertising. These providers may set their own cookies and receive your IP address and the pages you visit. They have their own privacy policies and their own opt-outs.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run the site: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, and the analytics and advertising providers named above when they are switched on. We will also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

Remember that anything you put in a public listing, including photos and your approximate location, is visible to everyone. Messages you send another member are visible to them.

Account and listing data is kept while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that disputes can be resolved and our records are complete. Messages are kept while the accounts involved exist. Analytics data is kept according to the provider's retention setting.

You can edit your profile and your listings at any time, and you can remove a listing whenever you want. To have your account and its personal data deleted, contact us through the contact form or at loveforthrift@gmail.com and we will action it. We may need to keep limited records where the law requires it.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to access a copy of your data, to correct it, to restrict how it is used, or to object to it being used. Ask us and we will help.

The marketplace is for adults. You must be at least 18 to buy or sell here, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords and access controls on our systems. No service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.

This policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. If you have a privacy concern we have not been able to resolve, you can also raise it with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way we will update the date at the top of this page.
