A free local marketplace for Pittsburgh

This is a marketplace built for one city. Everything listed here is in or around Pittsburgh, everything is collected in person, and nobody pays a fee to buy or to sell. No listing fee, no seller fee, no buyer protection fee, no shipping charge — because there is no shipping.

Most resale apps are national feeds built around parcels and clothing. That works for a jacket and fails for a dining table. Here the transaction is a handover: you agree a price in the site’s chat, you meet somewhere sensible, and the buyer pays when they take the item. Money never passes through us, so there is nothing for us to take a percentage of.

What gets listed: furniture, antiques, decor, housewares, tools, books, records, collectibles, kids’ things, garden equipment and the useful, still-working household items that are too good to put on the curb. Every listing states its condition and its neighborhood, and pieces that sell stay visible so you can see real Pittsburgh prices rather than asking prices.

Buying and selling in person is safe when you use a routine: meet in a public place in daylight for anything portable, bring someone with you when the item has to be collected from a home, and agree the price in chat first. The safety tips and the meetup guide cover it properly.

Selling is free, so there is no reason to leave something in the basement instead. Post it, and see who is looking in Pittsburgh this week.
